17th Gyalwa Karmapa"Buddhism is a way of life through which we develop the qualities of our mind.
This way of life is very unusual, as it is a means to attain happiness without harming others.

The 14th Kunzig Shamar Rinpoché
Mahamudra prayers - Dhagpo Kagyu Ling - 14/06/2013 - Teaching in English, translated to French by Thinley Rinpoche

14th Shamarpa

The Aspiration prayers of Mahamudra, composed by the third Karmapa Rangjung Dorjé (1284-1339), present the path towards enlightenment in the form of an aspiration. The text, particularly concise and profound, structured in 25 stanzas, describes the basis, the path and the fruit; it explains the view -- the theoretical aspect of the teaching --, the means to be applied through meditation and the activity that ensues from it. It is part of the five great aspiration prayers of the kagyü lineage.
