Hommage to 14th Kunzig Shamar Rinpoche: Announcing Monthly Broadcasts of the 14th Shamarpa’s Teachings, from September to December 2024

Continuing the tribute to our lineage holder, the 14th Kunzig Shamar Rinpoche, we are delighted to announce the launch of monthly broadcasts of teachings that he gave at the Bodhi Path Center in Virginia in 2013.
On the tenth anniversary of the 14th Shamarpa’s parninirvana this year, Dhagpo Kagyu Ling organized two events with streamings of several teachings, including on the practice of Chenrezig, and calm abiding and deep insight meditation (shiné & lhaktong).
These same teachings will be streamed the last weekend of every month until the end of 2024. This provides a new opportunity to follow them if you have not yet had the chance. Furthermore, Lama Jigme Rinpoche encourages practitioners to listen to the teachings again as this offers a way to contemplate them and put them into practice.
Shamar Rinpoche’s teachings are a true inspiration, a blessing and a great support to our practice. Given with depth, precision and warmth, they reflect his immense compassion and wisdom, and his tireless generosity in transmitting the Buddha Dharma to western practitioners.
The 14th Shamarpa’s teachings will be streamed once a month on DKL’s YouTube channel.
