SUMMARY:Treatise that Distinguishes Object-Oriented Knowledge from Primordial Knowledge - Session 2
DESCRIPTION:Program update on 1/03/2025 \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				This text by the 3rd Karmapa\, Rangjung Dorje (1284–1339)\, distinguishes the way that object-oriented knowledge manifests and operates from primordial knowledge.  In other words\, it provides understanding of the difference between the mind of an enlightened being and the confusion in the mind of an ordinary being\, despite the fact that the nature of the two are identical.  The explanation of the text will be detailed and rigorous\, based on scriptural sources.  To study this key work of the Karma Kagyu tradition constitutes a prerequisite for those who wish to integrate serious meditative practice on their path.   \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n					\n					\n						\n						Dongsung Shabdrung Rinpoche\, fourth of this name\, known for his great scholarship\, is recognized as the incarnation of Sangye Yeshe (832–902 CE)\, one of twenty-five heart disciples of Padmasambhava.  Despite belonging to the Sakya lineage\, he received the most important transmissions and empowerment cycles from masters of different schools\, among them Thaye Dorje\, His Holiness the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa.  He is currently the principal instructor at DongSung monastery\, China.  \n					\n				\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Information\n\n\nThough open to all\, this teaching requires familiarization with Buddhist ideas.   \n\n\nBeginning of the Teaching: Wednesday\, April 23  at 10:00 a.m. \n\n\nTranslations:  This teaching is given in Tibetan and translated into French.  If you wish to follow this teaching in another language (German\, English\, or Spanish)\, we ask that you kindly fill in this request form before Monday\, April 14th. \n\n\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Frais de session : 23 € / jour\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				Download the program

SUMMARY:50 years - Kangyur Procession to mark the birth of the Dhagpo Kagyu Library
DESCRIPTION:April 2000: A Library is Born \nOn April 30\, from 3:00 p.m.\, to mark this event and for this first time at Dhagpo Kagyu Ling\, all practitioners will be invited to join a Kangyur procession. The Kangyur texts (the Buddha’s words translated into Tibetan) are kept in their traditional format in the Library. The texts will be carried in procession from the Institute\, around the Sukhavati Garden and all the Dhagpo stupas. \nAhead of this\, between April 14 and 18 (from 10 to 10:30 a.m. and from 2 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.)\, practitioners who can read Tibetan are invited to join reading aloud from each of the 103 volumes that constitute the collection\, in the Library’s reading room and in the Tibetan documentary holding room.  \nThis practice\, which is widespread in Asia\, is an expression of respect towards the Buddha’s words contained in these volumes\, and a reminder that it is the reliable source of authentic Dharma\, the supports enabling us to know what to cultivate and what to abandon\, and the means to free ourselves from suffering. DESCRIPTION:Jigme Rinpoche guides this study and meditation curriculum laid out by Shamar Rinpoche for the sixth year.This curriculum is for all those who wish to deepen their practice and will allow them to progressively acquire the necessary foundations for training in Chenrezig meditation and\, one day\, actualizing it. \nThe cycle takes place over the course of three intensive annual retreats. It is made up of themes to learn and meditations to apply. Between courses\, participants are asked to train in applying the instructions they have received.
