DESCRIPTION:This meditation and study course developed by Shamar Rinpoche has been guided by Lama Jigme Rinpoche for five years.It is intended for all those who wish to deepen their practice and allows them to progressively acquire the necessary foundations to train in Chenrezik meditation and\, in time\, to actualize it.The cycle is spread over three annual intensive retreats. It consists of subjects to study and meditations to apply. Between the retreats\, participants are asked to practice implementing the instructions received. The wishes to take rebirth in Dewachen\, the pure land of Amitabha\, are a simple means directly based on devotion that allows for bringing together Il the conditions for liberation at the moment of death. Tseying Rinpoche explains what the pure land of Amitabha is\, how to recite these wishes\, and what conditions to bring together for them to be efficient.\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n					\n					\n						\n						Tseyang Rinpoché\, fourth of this name\, is the tulku of a tibetan mahasiddha. In 1996 he was formally recognized by the XIV Shamar Rinpoché during the Kagyu Monlams in Bodhgaya. He finished his studies and obtained his certification from the Vikramashila Buddhist Institute. SUMMARY:Study and Meditation Curriculum Chenrezik Cycle - Year 6: Course 1
DESCRIPTION:This meditation and study course developed by Shamar Rinpoche has been guided by Lama Jigme Rinpoche for five years.It is intended for all those who wish to deepen their practice and allows them to progressively acquire the necessary foundations to train in Chenrezik meditation and\, in time\, to actualize it.The cycle is spread over three annual intensive retreats. It consists of subjects to study and meditations to apply. Between the retreats\, participants are asked to practice implementing the instructions received. The content of each meeting depends on the evolution of the participants’ practice. \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				 \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Teachers\nLama Jigme Rinpoche guides the program for each course. A group of students trained by Khenpo Chödrak present the philosophy portion.  \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Important\n\nThis course is a continuation of the instructions transmitted for several years. We invite those who wish to discover this process of practice to participate in the Clarity and Compassion retreats\, also guided by Lama Jigme Rinpoche.\nHaving taken refuge is essential. This cycle is intended for people who are already familiar with the practice of meditation and Buddhist philosophical concepts.\nJoining this cycle implies taking part in all three annual courses as well as the previous years. SUMMARY:The Torch of Certain Meaning
DESCRIPTION:“Each of us has obtained a human existence. Its purpose is to enter the doorway of the Dharma and for this it is necessary for our minds to turn toward the Dharma. In order for our minds to turn toward the Dharma\, it is necessary to know the qualities of the three jewels and to develop convinced trust in them. This trust will not appear so long as we do not keep death and impermanence in mind. This is why we must begin by familiarizing ourselves with the impermanent nature of all things. The reminder of impermanence is born from understanding that it is difficult to find a human existence endowed with freedoms and wealths. The four common preliminary practices are the roots of practice.” (Translation of the prologue of The Torch of Certain Meaning by Jamgön Kongtrül Lodrö Thaye). Over the course of these four days\, Jamgön Kongtrül Rinpoche will introduce us to this work composed by his predecessor. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n					\n					\n						\n						Jamgön Kongtrul Rinpoche\, born in 1995\, was recognized by Thaye Dorje\, His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa\, as the fourth reincarnation of the Kongtrüls. From the age of four\, he began to study and memorize the rituals of his tradition. At fourteen years old\, he began his studies of the great Buddhist texts on philosophy and epistemology at Sakya College in Deradun\, India. On October 31\, 2018\, Jamgön Kongtrul Rinpoche entered into a three-year retreat in Parping\, Nepal. He concluded this retreat on May 4\, 2022. During this period\, he received and practiced numerous vajrayana transmissions\, primarily of the Karma Kagyü lineage. Furthermore\, he received the transmissions and oral instructions on Mahamudra. Kongtrül RInpoche is an important figure in the Kagyü lineage. Today\, at twenty-seven years old\, he is beginning to deploy a vast activity of teaching the Buddha Dharma following the directives of Thaye Dorje\, His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa. \n					\n				\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Important\nJamgön Kongtrül Rinpoche will transmit the Dorje Sempa empowerment on Saturday afternoon\, October 7.Having taken refuge is a prerequisite. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Information\n• Course Begins: Friday\, October 6 at 10 am• The teaching is given in Tibetan and translated in French. SUMMARY:Milarepa’s Guru Yoga - Practice Explanations and Empowerment
DESCRIPTION:Milarepa (1040–1123 CE)—saint\, poet\, and hermit—is a carrier of the lineage’s spiritual influence. Praciticing his guru yoga (union with enlightened mind) opens our mind to its own wealth. Nendo Rinpoche will explain this practice based on the commentary of Jamgön Kongtrul Lodrö Thaye and transmit the empowerment. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n					\n					\n						\n						Nendo Rinpoche\, the sixth reincarnation of the Nendo Kulha lineage\, was born in 1962. He was recognized by the 16th Karmapa and remained close to the Karmapa until he turned eighteen\, when he moved to Ladakh to study and later accomplish a three-year retreat during which he practiced the six yogas of Naropa. He also received numerous other transmission\, notably from Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche. DAt twenty-five years old\, he was enthroned as the vajra master (dorje lopon) of Rumtek Monastery in Sikkim\, India. He is still the 16th Karmapa’s dorje lopon today. He is currently responsible for Shamar Rinpoche’s monks and is in charge of the Karma Kagyü lineage’s activities in Sikkim.
