Dear Dharma Practitioners,<\/p>\n

It is my utmost pleasure to share the following information with you.
During the Fifth International Karma Kagyu Meeting, which took place in Bodhgaya, in December 2019, Thaye Dorje, His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa emphasized the importance of focusing on preserving the precious teachings and transmissions of our Karma Kagyu lineage. Over several days, various groups gathered to discuss the need to receive and practice the teachings and empowerments of the lineage.<\/p>\n

In accordance with this wish, the transmission of the Gyachen Kadz\u00f6, The Treasury of Vast Teachings<\/em> by Jamg\u00f6n Kongtr\u00fcl Lodr\u00f6 Thaye, began at Sharminub, Nepal on November 15th of this year. This collection of texts in several volumes is comprised of precious Vajrayana teachings and empowerments. Until December 10th, rinpoches<\/em> such as Jamg\u00f6n Kongtr\u00fcl Rinpoche, lamas, khenpos<\/em>, and monastic practitioners from all over India, Sikkim, Bhutan and Nepal are gathered in the main temple to receive this transmission from Lama Sherap Gyaltsen Rinpoche. <\/p>\n

In homage to the late Kunzik Shamar Rinpoche who envisioned and founded Sharminub, Sharminub has been chosen to host the transmission. In these difficult times, the fact that such a transmission can take place is extraordinary in several respects. Among them is that of keeping a lineage alive by transmitting the meaning and methods that enable the actualization of enlightenment from one receptacle to another. All of these practices are based in none other than the wish of bodhichitta<\/em>, the powerful aspiration to reach enlightenment for the benefit of all sentient beings. <\/p>\n

That such an invaluable opportunity can take place is extremely auspicious. May we all join the transmission by rejoicing in this and may we aspire for the end of all kind of sufferings in the worlds. <\/p>\n
