From the month of February 1985<\/strong>, bulldozers transformed Dhagpo Kagyu Ling into a vast worksite<\/strong> to improve the Center\u2019s living conditions and welcoming capacity.<\/p>\n

Despite the rain, the work went ahead to dig trenches in order to install drains, water supply and electricity distribution pipes.<\/p>\n

[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column_inner][\/et_pb_row_inner][et_pb_row_inner _builder_version=”4.27.3″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column_inner saved_specialty_column_type=”3_4″ _builder_version=”4.27.3″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.27.4″ _module_preset=”default” hover_enabled=”0″ global_colors_info=”{}” sticky_enabled=”0″]<\/p>\n

At the same time, all the Center\u2019s trades \u2013 masons, painters and carpenters \u2013 were mobilized to finish the building<\/strong> housing the kitchen and bathroom, which would be put into service in early summer. The permit to renew the farmhouse and build the kitchen, dining hall and sanitary facilities was granted in September 1983.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, a new platform enlarged the parking<\/strong> lot, while paths were widened and covered with gravel to avoid walking in mud!
Tendrel magazine (no. 8, July 1985) notes that:<\/p>\n

\u201cLama Jigmela, through his unceasing activity, was able to raise the required funds needed to complete the works, by taking out various loans.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u00c0 partir du mois de f\u00e9vrier 1985, les bulldozers transforment Dhagpo Kagyu Ling<\/strong> en un vaste chantier afin d\u2019am\u00e9liorer les conditions de vie et d\u2019accueil sur le centre.<\/p>

Malgr\u00e9 la pluie au programme, le creusement de tranch\u00e9es a d\u00e9but\u00e9 pour installer des drains, des tuyaux d\u2019arriv\u00e9e d\u2019eau et de distribution d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9.<\/p>

\u00c0 la m\u00eame p\u00e9riode, tous les corps de m\u00e9tier pr\u00e9sents sur le centre \u2013 ma\u00e7ons, peintres et menuisiers - se sont mobilis\u00e9s pour finir le b\u00e2timent cuisine-salle de bains, qui sera mis en service au d\u00e9but de l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9. Le permis de construire en vue de la r\u00e9novation de la fermette et des constructions abritant cuisine, r\u00e9fectoire et sanitaires<\/strong> avait \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9livr\u00e9 en septembre 1983.<\/p>

Par ailleurs, une nouvelle plateforme agrandit le parking<\/strong> alors que des chemins ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9largis et recouverts de gravier afin d\u2019en finir avec la boue.
