Over the years, the celebration of Losar, Tibetan New Year<\/strong>, has found its place in the P\u00e9rigord landscape as a moment of openness<\/strong> and sharing<\/strong>. Celebrated on the first day of the year in the Tibetan calendar, Losar is preceded by several days of traditional ceremonies, including the extensive ritual of the wisdom protectors to dispel obstacles and bring together favorable circumstances for the practice of Dharma. This is also the time when the prayer banners\u2014the five-colored flags that spread wishes in all directions\u2014are changed.<\/p>\n

As a local newspaper reports in February 1980, \u201cTo celebrate this first day of the Tibetan New Year<\/strong>, people had come from everywhere: from Germany, the Paris region\u2026but also from P\u00e9rigord,\u201d with Tibetan cakes served for all in the early morning. The article refers to the presence of Lama Gendun and Lama Jigme Rinpoche, as well as Tenga Rinpoche,\u201d noting that the day was also an opportunity \u201cto establish friendly ties\u201d between the center\u2019s residents and visitors.<\/p>\n

Au fil du temps, la c\u00e9l\u00e9bration du Losar, le <\/span>nouvel an tib\u00e9tain<\/b>, s\u2019est inscrite dans le paysage p\u00e9rigourdin comme un moment <\/span>d\u2019ouverture <\/b>et de <\/span>partage<\/b>. C\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9 le premier jour de l'ann\u00e9e du calendrier tib\u00e9tain, le Losar est pr\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 de plusieurs jours de c\u00e9r\u00e9monies traditionnelles, dont le rituel extensif des protecteurs de sagesse, afin de dissiper les obstacles et de rassembler les circonstances favorables \u00e0 la pratique du Dharma. C\u2019est aussi \u00e0 cette p\u00e9riode que sont chang\u00e9es les banni\u00e8res de pri\u00e8re, ces drapeaux aux cinq couleurs qui propagent des souhaits dans toutes les directions.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

Comme on peut le lire dans un <\/span>journal r\u00e9gional en f\u00e9vrier 1980<\/b> : \u00ab Pour c\u00e9l\u00e9brer ce premier de l\u2019an tib\u00e9tain, on \u00e9tait venu de partout, d\u2019Allemagne, de la r\u00e9gion parisienne\u2026mais aussi du P\u00e9rigord\u00a0\u00bb avec g\u00e2teaux tib\u00e9tains pour d\u00e9marrer de bon matin.
