Mipham Ch\u00f6kyi L\u00f6dr\u00f6, the 14th Shamar Rinpoche, went into parinirvana in 2014. Ten years have passed since he left this world, but he is very present in Dharma centers that apply the learning and meditation practice curriculum he systematized. In the image of Rangjung Rigpe Dorje, the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa, Shamar Rinpoche devoted himself to making the Dharma accessible in the most authentic way possible.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

For thirty-three years<\/b>, from 1981 to 2014, Shamarpa<\/span> took care to come to Dhagpo Kagyu Ling nearly every year<\/b> to share teachings and empowerments. Primary holder of the Karma Kargy\u00fc lineage, he also took care to confer the essential transmissions of the lineage in the traditional three-year-three-month-three-day retreat center at Dhagpo Kundreul LIng.<\/span><\/p>\n

What ordinary mind understands of the generic term <\/span>tr\u00fclku <\/span><\/i>in Tibetan, <\/span>nirmanakaya<\/span><\/i> in Sanskrit<\/span>, <\/span><\/i>or <\/span>body of emanation<\/span><\/i>, is conditioned by our limited field of knowledge and meditation experience. Simplistic interpretations are easy to make and mistakes in understandings, numerous.<\/span><\/p>\n

During his talk<\/b> based on scriptural sources concerning the Shamarapas, Lama Tr\u00e9hor explained that nirmanakayas can be different types: they can be distinguished according to whether their manifestation arises based on their wishes for accomplishing the benefit of beings or whether their spontaneous manifestation is that of a being who has actualized enlightenment for the benefit of beings. The latter case concerns a supreme nirmanakaya (\u0f58\u0f46\u0f7c\u0f42\u0f0b\u0f42\u0f72\u0f0b\u0f66\u0fa4\u0fb2\u0f74\u0f63\u0f0b\u0f66\u0f90\u0f74\u0f0b). The Karmapas and Shamarpas are supreme nirmanakayas, the enlightened expression of two buddhas. <\/span><\/p>\n

Although what a buddha truly is escapes our ordinary experience, it is nevertheless possible to study scriptural sources, meditate, and formulated aspirations that we may one day be able to apprehend the truth of enlightened manifestation.<\/span><\/p>\n

I have managed to accomplish the most important of the many activities I carried out for the sake of Dharma in this lifetime. When it comes to the two of us, me and the Shamarpa, we are holders of the Dharma of the Karma Kagyu lineage. Concerning the Shamarpa however, after the 10th reincarnation they were mainly recognized by names but they were unable to accomplish vast activities. I, however, have managed to recognize the 14th Shamarpa, I have transferred all the empowerments and realisations to him and I have made him a lineage holder. That is my most important accomplishment.  <\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Pendant 33 ans<\/strong>, de 1981 \u00e0 2014, Shamarpa a pris soin de se rendre pratiquement chaque ann\u00e9e<\/strong> \u00e0 Dhagpo Kagyu Ling, pour y dispenser enseignements et initiations. D\u00e9tenteur principal de la lign\u00e9e karma kagy\u00fc, il a aussi pris soin de conf\u00e9rer les transmissions essentielles de la lign\u00e9e dans les centres de retraite traditionnelle de trois ans, trois mois et trois jours \u00e0 Dhagpo Kundreul Ling.<\/span><\/p>

Ce que l\u2019esprit ordinaire comprend du terme g\u00e9n\u00e9rique <\/span>tr\u00fclku <\/span><\/i>(\u0f66\u0fa4\u0fb2\u0f74\u0f63\u0f0b\u0f66\u0f90\u0f74) en tib\u00e9tain, <\/span>nirmanakaya <\/span><\/i>en sanskrit ou corps d\u2019\u00e9manation, est conditionn\u00e9 par le champ limit\u00e9 de notre connaissance et de notre exp\u00e9rience m\u00e9ditative. Les interpr\u00e9tations simplistes sont faciles, les erreurs de compr\u00e9hension nombreuses.<\/span><\/p>

Lors de son intervention \u00e9tay\u00e9e<\/strong> par des sources scripturaires<\/strong> \u00e0 propos des Shamarpas, lama Tr\u00e9hor a expliqu\u00e9 que les <\/span>nirmanakayas <\/span><\/i>sont de diff\u00e9rentes sortes : ils peuvent se distinguer selon que leur manifestation est issue de leurs aspirations pour accomplir le bien des \u00eatres ou que leur manifestation spontan\u00e9e est celle d\u2019un \u00eatre qui a actualis\u00e9 l\u2019\u00e9veil pour le bien des \u00eatres ; dans ce dernier cas, il est question de <\/span>nirmanakaya <\/span><\/i>supr\u00eame (\u0f58\u0f46\u0f7c\u0f42\u0f0b\u0f42\u0f72\u0f0b\u0f66\u0fa4\u0fb2\u0f74\u0f63\u0f0b\u0f66\u0f90\u0f74\u0f0b). Les Karmapas et les Shamarpas sont des <\/span>nirmanakayas <\/span><\/i>supr\u00eames, l\u2019expression de l\u2019\u00e9veil de deux bouddhas.<\/span><\/p>

M\u00eame si ce qu\u2019est v\u00e9ritablement un bouddha \u00e9chappe \u00e0 notre exp\u00e9rience ordinaire, il est n\u00e9anmoins possible d\u2019\u00e9tudier les sources scripturaires, de m\u00e9diter et de formuler l\u2019aspiration d\u2019\u00eatre un jour \u00e0 m\u00eame d\u2019appr\u00e9hender la v\u00e9rit\u00e9 de la manifestation \u00e9veill\u00e9e.<\/span><\/p>
