To the Lamas, Khenpos, Monks, and Nuns of Dhagpo Sheydrub Ling,<\/p>\n

The news of Venerable Maniwa Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche\u2019s passing brings me deep personal sadness, but even more so, I feel the immeasurable loss for our Karma Kagyu lineage.<\/p>\n

Having entered the Pure Land, Rinpoche leaves behind a legacy of profound authenticity. I offer my heartfelt condolences and prayers to his family, disciples, and students throughout the world.<\/p>\n

With his passing, our lineage has lost a master of rare integrity. Rinpoche perfectly embodied the three sets of vows: the discipline of individual liberation, the Bodhisattva discipline, and the Mantrayana discipline.<\/p>\n

Throughout his life, he upheld the full monastic vows he received from Rangjung Rigp\u00e9 Dorj\u00e9, His Holiness the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa\u2014a commitment both exceptional and deeply precious in today\u2019s world.<\/p>\n

He remained unwavering in his dedication to the welfare of all beings, showing equal care to the underprivileged and to all who sought his guidance. Through his steadfast Mantrayana commitments, he maintained unceasing practice rooted in the blessings of the lineage. He transmitted empowerments that ripen the mind, guided disciples tirelessly as a Drup\u00f6n with flawless instructions and reading transmissions, and organized vast Nyungn\u00e9 retreats\u2014personally completing billions of Mani recitations.<\/p>\n

Although this moment feels unbearably dark, those who had the immense merit of meeting such a master should rejoice deeply, for beings like him are exceedingly rare in this world. The most meaningful way to honor his life, his example, and his boundless generosity is to hold his precious advice close to your heart and to continue putting into practice all that you have received from him.<\/p>\n

\u00c0 l\u2019attention des lamas, khenpos, moines et moniales de Dhagpo Sheydrub Ling<\/p>\r\n

La nouvelle du d\u00e9c\u00e8s de v\u00e9n\u00e9rable Maniwa Sh\u00e9rab Gyaltsen Rinpoch\u00e9 m\u2019attriste profond\u00e9ment, mais plus encore, je ressens une perte incommensurable pour notre lign\u00e9e Karma Kagyu.<\/p>\r\n

Ayant rejoint les champs purs, Rinpoch\u00e9 laisse un h\u00e9ritage d'une profonde authenticit\u00e9. Je pr\u00e9sente mes sinc\u00e8res condol\u00e9ances et mes pri\u00e8res \u00e0 sa famille, \u00e0 ses disciples et \u00e0 ses \u00e9tudiants dans le monde entier.<\/p>\r\n

Avec sa disparition, notre lign\u00e9e perd un ma\u00eetre d'une rare int\u00e9grit\u00e9. Rinpoch\u00e9 incarnait parfaitement les trois type de v\u0153ux : la discipline de lib\u00e9ration individuelle, la discipline du bodhisattva et la discipline du mantrayana.<\/p>\r\n

Il a maintenu, pendant toute sa vie, les disciplines monastiques re\u00e7ues de Rangjung Rigp\u00e9 Dorj\u00e9, Sa Saintet\u00e9 le XVIe Gyalwa Karmapa. Ceci est exceptionnel et extr\u00eamement pr\u00e9cieux dans le monde actuel.<\/p>\r\n

Il est rest\u00e9 in\u00e9branlable dans son engagement pour le bien-\u00eatre de tous les \u00eatres, t\u00e9moignant d\u2019un soin \u00e9gal envers les d\u00e9munis et envers tous ceux qui venaient \u00e0 lui.<\/p>\r\n

Il a honor\u00e9 ses engagements du mantrayana par une pratique continue, fermement enracin\u00e9e dans les b\u00e9n\u00e9dictions de la lign\u00e9e. Il a transmis les initiations qui font m\u00fbrir l\u2019esprit ; guid\u00e9 sans rel\u00e2che les disciples en tant que drup\u00f6n avec de parfaites instructions et transmissions orales. Il a organis\u00e9 de vastes rassemblements pour les retraites de Nyungn\u00e9, accomplissant personnellement des milliards de r\u00e9citations de Mani.<\/p>\r\n

Bien que ce moment semble d'une obscurit\u00e9 insupportable, ceux qui ont eu l\u2019immense m\u00e9rite de rencontrer un tel ma\u00eetre devraient se r\u00e9jouir profond\u00e9ment, car de tels \u00eatres sont extr\u00eamement rares en ce monde. La meilleure fa\u00e7on d\u2019honorer sa vie, son exemple et sa g\u00e9n\u00e9rosit\u00e9 illimit\u00e9e est de garder pr\u00e9cieusement ses conseils dans votre c\u0153ur et de continuer \u00e0 mettre en pratique tout ce que vous avez appris de lui.<\/p>\r\n
