He devoted himself to practice and realization, honoring his own root guru, His Holiness the 16th Gyalwang Karmapa, along with many other great masters from both the new and old Vajrayana traditions.<br \/>As we all know, Rinpoche dedicated his entire life to the Buddha Dharma and to the benefit of countless sentient beings.<\/p>\n<p>On the completion day of this year&#8217;s Saga Dawa (the fourth lunar month), during the seven recitations of the Dungdrup practice, Rinpoche said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>This third seven-fold Dungdrup has been auspiciously completed, and my wish is fulfilled. Now, even if I were to die, I would have no regret, because this has been my weekly virtuous acts and the fulfillment of my final rites aspiration.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>At the same time, he gave many signs and indications in his teachings to close disciples that he was preparing for another pure realm.<\/p>\n<p>For over a decade, Rinpoche received medical treatment for a serious heart condition. Recently, his doctors strongly advised urgent surgery, and we made every efort to ensure its success. Sadly, due to the collective lack of merit for the flourishing of the Buddha Dharma in general, and for the Karma Kagyu lineage in particular, Rinpoche dissolved his Nirmanakaya into the Dharmakaya.<\/p>\n<p>His Kudung (precious remains body) was brought to one of his main seats, Karma Ngedon Osal Ling Nunnery, where he remained in Thugdam meditation for three days, completing this state in the early morning of the 15th day of the lunar waxing full moon.<\/p>\n<p>According to the guidance of His Holiness the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa Thaye Dorje, the following practices will be performed:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Weekly Schedule of Final Rites<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>First Week:<\/strong> Mitrukpa (Akshobhya) Sadhana<\/li>\n<li><strong>Second Week:<\/strong> Kunrik (Vairocana) Sadhana<\/li>\n<li><strong>Third Week:<\/strong> Dorsem (Vajrasattva) Sadhana-all held at Karma Ngedon Osal Ling Nunnery<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fourth Week:<\/strong> His kudung will be brought to Manang Society Monastery, Swayambhu, for the practice of Gyalwang Gyamtso (Four-Armed Red Avalokiteshvara) Sadhana, dedicated especially for the benefit of his disciples<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fifth Week:<\/strong> At Dhagpo Shedrup Ling Monastery, Shitro (One Hundred Deities Sadhana)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sixth Week:<\/strong> Kagyu Gurtso (Ocean of Songs of the Kagyu Gurus)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Seventh Week:<\/strong> Amitabha Sadhana and Cremation Ceremony -to be held on 29th October 2025<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We humbly request all Dharma friends, devotees, and disciples to keep these final rites programs in your hearts and to join in prayer and dedication wherever you may be.<\/p>\n<p>With aspirations for the flourishing of the Dharma and the benefit of all beings,<\/p>\n<p>Final Rites Committee<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_3&#8243; Il s\u2019est d\u00e9vou\u00e9 \u00e0 la pratique et \u00e0 son actualisation, honorant son lama racine, Sa Saintet\u00e9 le XVIe Gyalwa Karmapa, avec de nombreux autres ma\u00eetres des anciennes et nouvelles traditions du vajrayana. Comme nous le savons tous, Rinpoch\u00e9 a d\u00e9di\u00e9 sa vie enti\u00e8re au Bouddha-Dharma ou Dharma du Bouddha et au bienfait d\u2019une infinit\u00e9 d\u2019\u00eatres sensibles.<\/p><p>Cette ann\u00e9e, \u00e0 la fin du mois de Saga Dawa (le quatri\u00e8me mois lunaire), durant la septuple r\u00e9citation de la pratique de Dungdrup, Rinpoch\u00e9 a dit :<\/p><blockquote><p>Cette troisi\u00e8me ann\u00e9e de Dungdrup s\u2019est termin\u00e9e sous de bons augures, mon souhait est maintenant accompli. \u00c0 pr\u00e9sent, si je venais \u00e0 mourir, je n\u2019aurais aucun regret, car j\u2019aurais accompli mes actes vertueux hebdomadaires et achev\u00e9 mes aspirations quant \u00e0 mes derniers rituels.<\/p><\/blockquote><p>Durant cette p\u00e9riode, lors d\u2019enseignements \u00e0 ses disciples proches, il donna de nombreux signes et indications qu\u2019il se pr\u00e9parait pour un autre champ pur.<br>Depuis plus d\u2019une d\u00e9cennie, Rinpoch\u00e9 recevait un traitement m\u00e9dical pour un probl\u00e8me cardiaque important. R\u00e9cemment, ses m\u00e9decins ont fortement conseill\u00e9 une op\u00e9ration d\u2019urgence, et nous avons fait tout notre possible pour en assurer le succ\u00e8s. Malheureusement, \u00e0 cause de notre manque de m\u00e9rite pour le d\u00e9ploiement du Bouddha-Dharma en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral et pour la lign\u00e9e karma kagy\u00fc en particulier, Rinpoch\u00e9 a dissout son <em>nirmanakaya<\/em> dans le <em>dharmakaya<\/em>.<\/p><p>Son <em>kudung<\/em> (pr\u00e9cieuse d\u00e9pouille physique) a \u00e9t\u00e9 transport\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019un de ses principaux si\u00e8ges, la nonnerie de Karma Nged\u00f6n \u00d6sal Ling, o\u00f9 il est demeur\u00e9 en <em>tukdam<\/em>, la m\u00e9ditation post-mortem, pendant trois jours.
