Since December 30, 2025, daily pujas have been performed in the presence of Thaye Dorje, His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa and many eminent masters at the Karmapa International Buddhist Institute (KIBI) before the Kudung of His Eminence the 3rd Jamgon Ju Mipham Namgyal Gyatso Tshojung Gyepe Dorje, the late father of Gyalwa Karmapa, following his passing into parinirvana.
The cremation ceremony will be held at the end of this traditional 49-day period, on Tuesday February 10, at KIBI.
On this day at Dhagpo Kagyu Ling, we will perform the Guru Yoga of Milarepa, with numerous offerings.
Mipham Rinpoche visited Dhagpo on several occasions. All those who had the good fortune to meet him were touched by the strength of his presence and his great kindness.
This particular day is the occasion to connect ourselves to the blessing of this eminent master and to pay him homage by gathering together around practice.
