On two occasions this year, facilitators who share the Dharma as part of programs at Dhagpo Kagyu Ling, Dhagpo Kundreul Ling and the Dhagpo urban centers (KTT) met at Dhagpo Kagyu Ling’s Institute.
These meetings gather different generations of facilitators. They provide an opportunity to keep abreast of program developments as well as to share experiences and concerns linked to the activity of sharing the Dharma.
Lama Jigme Rinpoche now oversees this process, insisting on its rigorous nature.
He specifically asked facilitators to create study and working groups to carefully and closely go over the instructions received, both in terms of meditative practice and philosophical teachings. This process has a double purpose: to nurture facilitators’ practice and to share the Dharma ever more authentically.
During the October meeting, Lama Jigme Rinpoche recalled that for almost fifty years, access points to the Buddha’s teachings have been established (Dhagpo Kagyu Ling, Dhagpo Kundreul Ling, urban centers). Now that this stage is completed, the focus must be on continuing to deepen one’s understanding of the teachings and sharing the Dharma in a precise and clear manner.
This is how the teachings stay alive and can take root in a new environment, representing a long-term endeavor.
