Furthermore ceremonies are currently underway at Diamond Way’s Europe Center, Immenstadt, Germany.

Message from Diamond Way Europe Center
Deeply moved, we share the news that our teacher Lama Ole, has left his body. “In a completely natural and peaceful way – marked as always, by immense love and strength”, he passed away surrounded by his family on 18 May 2026, at the Europe Center (The International Diamond Way Buddhist Center, Germany) where many of his students and friends from around the world had gathered to meditate together over the past few weeks.
His tireless activity for Buddhism in the West and the Karma Kagyu lineage fills us with great gratitude. Lama Ole dedicated his life entirely to the mission of the 16th Karmapa, Rangjung Rigpe Dorje, and since 1972, he founded over 650 Diamond Way Buddhist centers worldwide, visited them regularly, and took care of his countless students with boundless devotion.
For us, as his students and friends, Lama Ole remains in our hearts as a powerful, great teacher who shared everything with us.Following Lama Ole’s example, we will continue his work in unity.Immenstadt, Europe Center, 18 May 2026

Registration
- Note that there are no beds available at the EC, but you are welcome to camp in the marked areas.
- Please do not bring drugs, alcohol, or animals to the EC premises. Also note that open fires are not allowed on the grounds.
- EC weather is unpredictable, so please be prepared for everything.

Shuttle and parking
- It is not possible to park at the EC. Shuttles will be running regularly from the P3 parking area in Immenstadt (Viehmarkt Platz). If you come by car, please use the public parking areas (for a small fee).
- We kindly ask you to only park in official parking areas to help us maintain good relations with the community and the authorities.

Everyone helps out!
- We rely on every guest to volunteer at least one hour per day doing little jobs. You can take job shifts at the Info Point in the “Pub.”
Regular Program and meals
- We have 16th Karmapa Meditation every day at 9:00am and 8:00pm.
- Meals are (usually) at the following times: breakfast at 8:00 (4.00€), lunch at 13:00 (7.00€), and dinner at 18:30 (7.00€). There are discounted prices for children.
