From May 8 to 10, 2026, Trinlay Rinpoche continued his teaching on The Sutra of Aspirations for Excellent Conduct. Taking into account the presence of new participants in this fourth session, he outlined the fundamental elements of the Buddhist path to help us carry out our practice effectively.
As he explained, the same approach underpins every practice: dispelling ignorance and afflictions, and revealing the original nature of our mind.
As such, Trinlay Rinpoche underscored the meaning of the Middle Way, ethical discipline as the foundation of the path, the importance of correct motivation, confidence and discernment in order to turn one’s mind towards what is virtuous and beneficial.
It is by understanding these fundamentals that we can formulate aspirations with the motivation of a bodhisattva, so that they become a guiding thread from life to life.
Trinlay Rinpoche set aside time for questions and answers in each session making the retreat rich in discussion, reflection and instructions for authentic practice aimed at attaining perfect enlightenment—the realization of the true nature of mind.
